A court package is one part of the project. Foundations, drainage, access, electrical work and local approvals can change both the scope and the budget.

For outdoor sites, exposure and coastal conditions also need attention. For an indoor proposal, clear height, building services and the existing floor require their own review. Tell us what you are considering so we can confirm the support available.

Foundations, Slopes and Existing Tennis Courts

Share the available base drawings, levels, drainage information and construction history before assuming an existing tennis court or slab can be reused. Confirm the selected model's foundation and anchoring requirements against the actual ground and intended layout. The court footprint must include the surrounding structure, access and circulation; no universal tennis-to-padel conversion capacity is assumed.

Understand the complete budget.

Before comparing prices, check what each proposal includes. A court supply price may exclude groundwork, foundations, transport, import costs, offloading, electrical work, engineering, permits and taxes.

We help you define those items so you can plan around the complete installation scope.

Court Price Is Not Project Price

Review court supply, freight to Western Canada, import and handling, offloading, foundations, drainage, lighting and electrical supply, installation, permits and surrounding works as separate budget items. Record inclusions, exclusions and provisional work for each. A lower package price cannot be compared fairly with a complete project scope until those differences are visible.

FAQ.

Can you plan a private or municipal padel court?

Yes. Start with the location and intended use. WCSI leads the project from consultation to handover and defines responsibilities in the proposal. Clubs, schools and developers can also enquire.

How much space will the project need?

Start with the selected court’s approved dimensions, then allow for the structure, foundations, access, circulation and any required operational or safety clearances. A site plan is needed to confirm the complete footprint.

Can you provide a fixed court price online?

The total depends on the model and the work required at your site. We review the project scope before preparing a proposal. Request a consultation to discuss the information needed for a useful budget.

Will the court be suitable for our local weather?

Suitability must be assessed for the location, selected system and intended operating season. Manufacturer information and local engineering requirements guide decisions about foundations, anchoring, exposure, drainage and any additional protection.

What about lighting and permits?

These are reviewed as part of project planning. Your proposal should set out the required technical input, electrical work, approvals and the responsibilities of each party.

Can we use an existing tennis court or concrete base?

An existing surface needs assessment before it can be accepted for a padel installation. Dimensions alone do not establish whether the base, foundations and drainage are suitable.

What maintenance should we plan for?

The selected court package determines the care requirements for turf, glass, fixings, finishes and lighting. Include maintenance access and ongoing care in the operating plan, and review the manufacturer’s current instructions at handover.
